Friday, December 6- Vietnam gallery walk.

Due today: week 3 vocabulary--cumulative test on Tuesday. Use your study cards. There will be no retest.

In class: Vietnam gallery walk. This is anticipation of reading Tim O'Brien's short story "On the Rainy River"

There is an accompanying graphic organizer, which will be a writing grade. You will look at 15 pictures and respond to them.

I am unable to post the 15 images. If you are absent, please go to google- or bing- and type in Vietnam photos in black and white. Choose 15 varying photos and for each of the 15 answer respond to the following: 

1. Write exactly what you see; be specific in terms of people and setting.  Use descriptive adjectives. It is not necessary to have complete sentences.

2. Write two descriptive adjectives that reflect your feelings when you view the picture.

3. What purpose did the photographer have in taking the photo?
