Setting for the Hemingway's short story "In Another Country"
Next Tuesday, January 22, you have a review test on the literary terms. Although there are 32 listed- all of which you should already know- I have a matching assessment on 20 of the terms. The purpose is to have you refamiliarize yourself with these words that should be part of your written and oral vocabulary when referring to literature. They are also should be a component of your writing on the Regents Exam.
REGENTS EXAM: Monday, January 27 pm session.
In class today: you should complete the graphic organizer that accompanies Hemingway's short story "In Another Country." I will circulate to help you. Make sure to read the questions carefully. Refer back to the text. Almost all the questions require an analysis statement. This is due at the close of class today. It is a writing grade.
