Tuesday, October 15 2013, Reviewing the Ancient Mariner

Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. Let's get back to the Ancient Mariner...

Today we're going to be reviewing what has happened so far in "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner"

As a bonus, I've included the class notes for the poem up until this point; make sure you're looking at your class section! (CLICK THE LINKS BELOW)

Sixth Period
Seventh Period
Eighth Period

Continuing on with the reading:
We started reading at line 220, the stanza before Part 4 which reads...
The souls did from their bodies fly-
They fled to bliss or woe!
And every soul, it passed me by,
Like the whizz of my crossbow!

And read until line 376
Till noon we quietly sailed on,
Yet never a breeze did breather:
Slowly and smoothly went the ship,
Move onward from beneath.
We talked about what was happening as I read aloud and filled out all but the last page of the in-class worksheet (click me)

If you missed class, be sure to talk with someone who was there to get a summary of the plot of the story.
